Facebook helps users to contact

Facebook introduces a new feature that is in beta, allows users to communicate privately with with Pages. Is this the end of public complaints?

If you did you make contact with a brand page on Facebook, surely you understand the power of a complaint or Paragon advertising on public wall. But what happened if you wanted to call my husband in the privacy page to contact you? I think that Facebook is working on an answer just that question.

Privacy for users

Facebook has confirmed this week it was looking a new option will allow users to communicate privately with pages of social networking. Feature, apparently read Private Messages for Pages where users and owners of the pages to personal dialogue with each other information, so other users on the brand can not be witnessed.

Thus, a user who has encountered a problem or would like to clarify a certain matter with a top, would not have to write the appeal in public – sending a private message will not create “News” feed-General and would produce the effect that Facebook and of course my husband would want to produce pages. If users choose to praise a company through a detail – pages may lose the positive effect of involvement in the crowd and not be able to show their willingness to help the sight of all, as well as miss out on the advertising that appears feed user, who knows that he did Like brand specific or wrote him a certain.

Those pages will be able to choose whether they want to receive private messages or not. If you tolerate this – users can turn to them in private, even if they did not Like the page. It is important to note that the page owners can not initiate private conversations, unless users have commented or posted on their wall – or initiated the communication.

While it may seem that the world are afraid of losing the positive effect pages, it seems that in Israel the companies will be happy to open the option and use it as much as possible. Widely thought that some of the messages posted on their pages of service providers are actually negative and brand managers can now “force” users to share the story more privately and not with everyone.

Balance of Power

Last September, Facebook removed the option to update pages which my husband was able to send mass messages to all the people who made them Like. While that’s a good way for brand owners to talk with their clients, it seems that the users has never been an easy way to communicate privately with with the top – unless opened a special tab for so requesting them to send mail or request.

While the service is currently in its early beta stages and not yet known when released to the public, Facebook is indeed confirmed the news and tells you just check the new feature. It now seems that there is a positive step for users, but rather for that page – but had to wait and see how companies choose to implement it, if at all.

 

Re-Encryption-Based Key Management Towards Secure and Scalable Mobile Applications in Clouds

Abstract: Cloud computing confers strong economic advantages, but many clients are reluctant to implicitly trust a third-party cloud provider. To address these security concerns, data may be transmitted and stored in encrypted form. Major challenges exist concerning the aspects of the generation, distribution, and usage of encryption keys in cloud systems, such as the safe location of keys, and serving the recent trend of users that tend to connect to contemporary cloud applications using resource-constrained mobile devices in extremely large numbers simultaneously; these characteristics lead to difficulties in achieving efficient and highly scalable key management. In this work, a model for key distribution based on the principle of dynamic data re-encryption is applied to a cloud computing system in a unique way to address the demands of a mobile device environment, including limitations on client wireless data usage, storage capacity, processing power, and battery life. The proposed cloud-based re-encryption model is secure, efficient, and highly scalable in a cloud computing context, as keys are managed by the client for trust reasons, processor-intensive data re-encryption is handled by the cloud provider, and key redistribution is minimized to conserve communication costs on mobile devices. A versioning history mechanism effectively manages keys for a continuously changing user population. Finally, an implementation on commercial mobile and cloud platforms is used to validate the performance of the model.

PuTTY 0.62 released

PuTTY is a free implementation of Telnet and SSH for Windows and
Unix platforms, along with an xterm terminal emulator. It is written
and maintained primarily by Simon Tatham.

PuTTY 0.62 is a bug-fix release: it contains fixes for eight bugs
present in 0.61, and otherwise the two versions do not differ. Most of
the changes in the current development snapshots are not included in
this code.

One of the bugs is a SECURITY FIX, so if it affects you, you should
update now:

 - PuTTY 0.62 fixes a security issue present in 0.59, 0.60 and 0.61.
   If you log in using SSH-2 keyboard-interactive authentication
   (which is the usual method used by modern servers to request a
   password), the password you type was accidentally kept in PuTTY's
   memory for the rest of its run, where it could be retrieved by
   other processes reading PuTTY's memory, or written out to swap
   files or crash dumps.
